The automatic IP reset feature in Rotating Proxy and Mobile Proxy services allows users to automatically change their proxy IP addresses at specific time intervals. This feature provides significant convenience especially in web scraping, social media management, SEO tools, and multi-account operations.

What is Automatic IP Reset Feature?

Automatic IP reset is a feature that allows your proxy connection to automatically acquire a new IP address at intervals you specify. Instead of manually sending requests to the IP change API, the system performs IP rotation automatically at the period you set.

This feature can be used in both Rotating Proxy and Mobile Proxy services and can be easily activated through the customer panel.

Automatic IP Reset Minimum Duration Restriction

In the LivaProxy system, a minimum limit of 120 seconds (2 minutes) is set for the automatic IP reset feature. This limitation has technical and operational reasons:

Why 120 Seconds Minimum Duration?

• System Stability: Too frequent IP changes create unnecessary load on proxy servers and may negatively affect overall system performance.
• Connection Continuity: IP changes at very short intervals can cause active connections to be interrupted and service quality to decline.
• IP Pool Management: Reasonable rotation periods are necessary for balanced distribution of IP addresses and maintaining pool health.
• Platform Compatibility: The risk of target platforms perceiving very frequent IP changes as suspicious behavior is reduced.

How to Set Up Automatic IP Reset?

To activate the automatic IP reset feature, go to the management page of your relevant proxy service in your customer panel:

2. Select your relevant Rotating Proxy or Mobile Proxy service
3. Find the "Automatic IP Reset" section

In Rotating Proxy services, the automatic IP reset feature is an additional feature to the basic Rotating mechanism that performs automatic IP change on each request:

• Different IP for Each Request: Rotating Proxy already returns a different IP address for each request
• Sticky Session: You can maintain the same IP using a session key
• Automatic Reset: Ensures session renewal after a certain period when using sticky session

Automatic IP Reset in Mobile Proxy

In Mobile Proxy services, automatic IP reset simulates IP rotation of real mobile devices:

• 4.5G Connection: IP change occurs through the carrier
• 0-3 Second Reset: IP change is completed within 0-3 seconds
• Automatic Reset: IP is renewed at specified periods without manual intervention

Common Problems and Solutions

What Happens If I Enter Less Than 120 Seconds?

The system maintains the minimum 120-second limit and does not accept lower values. You may receive a warning message in the customer panel or the setting will not be saved.
