Package Upgrade and Change Operations Connection Information Guide

While using your proxy service, you may want to perform a package change or upgrade operation according to your needs. Knowing how your connection information (IP address, port number, username and password) will be affected during this process is very important for an uninterrupted usage experience.

Connection Information in Package Change and Upgrade Operations

When you perform a package change or upgrade operation in LivaProxy services, your existing connection information does not change. This applies to the following scenarios:

  • Switching from daily package to weekly or monthly package
  • Upgrading from lower quota to higher quota (e.g., from 5GB to 10GB)
  • Transition from testing phase to production
  • Package changes within the same product group

Since your connection information remains constant, you don't need to make any setting changes in your software or devices. Only your new package features (traffic quota, duration, etc.) are updated.

What Information Remains Unchanged?

During package upgrade or change operations, the following connection information remains exactly the same:

Information Type Description Status
IP Address / Hostname Address used to connect to the proxy server Unchanged
Port Number Port information used for connection Unchanged
Username Username used for authentication Unchanged
Password Password used for authentication Unchanged

What Features Are Updated?

While your connection information remains unchanged, your package features are updated:

  • Traffic Quota: Your internet usage quota increases according to your new package
  • Service Duration: Renewed according to your selected package period (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • IP Reset Features: Your daily reset limit in Mobile Proxy is updated according to your package
  • Support Duration: Your technical support coverage continues throughout your new package period

Transition from Testing to Production Scenario

Many of our customers first experience the service with a daily test package, then switch to monthly packages. During this process:

  1. You start with your daily test package
  2. You receive your connection information (IP, port, username, password) and configure them in your software
  3. You complete your testing process
  4. You switch to a monthly package from your customer panel
  5. You don't need to change the settings in your software - you continue using the same credentials
  6. Only your new quota and service duration are updated

How to Perform a Package Upgrade?

You can easily perform a package change from your customer panel:

  1. Log in to your customer panel
  2. Select the service you want to update from the "My Services" section
  3. Click on "Upgrade Package" or "Change" option
  4. Select your new package and duration
  5. Complete the payment process
  6. The system will automatically update your package

After the operation is completed, your connection information will remain unchanged, only your package features will be updated.

Switching to Different Product Groups

Important note: The above information applies to package changes within the same product group. If you switch to a completely different product group (for example, from Mobile Proxy to IPv4 Proxy), you need to order a new service, and in this case, you will receive new connection information.

Changes Within the Same Product Group:

  • Switching from Mobile Proxy Economy to Mobile Proxy Premium
  • Upgrading from Rotating Proxy 5GB to Rotating Proxy 25GB
  • Upgrading from IPv4 Proxy 10 IPs to IPv4 Proxy 25 IPs

Transitions Between Different Product Groups:

  • Switching from Mobile Proxy to Rotating Proxy
  • Switching from IPv4 Proxy to IPv6 Proxy
  • Switching from Rotating Proxy to ISP IPv4 Proxy

For such changes, you need to create a new order and receive new connection information.

Purchasing Additional Packages When Quota Runs Out

If your quota runs out before your current package period expires, you can purchase an additional package. With additional package purchases, your connection information also remains unchanged, only your available quota increases. Additional packages are valid until the expiration date of your current service.

Auto-Renewal and Connection Information

If your service is automatically renewed or you manually renew the same package, your connection information still does not change. Only your service duration is extended and your quota is renewed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to reconfigure my software when upgrading my package?

No, since your connection information remains the same, you don't need to make any setting changes. Your software will continue to work without interruption.

Will my IP address change when switching from a daily to monthly package?

In Mobile Proxy services, IP addresses are already dynamic in nature and change with reset. However, your connection server (hostname/IP) and authentication credentials remain the same. In static proxy services like ISP IPv4 and Datacenter IPv4, your exit IPs also don't change.

How long does it take for the package change to become active?

Package upgrade and change operations occur instantly. After payment confirmation, the new package features become active immediately.

Are there discounted transition options available?

In some cases, special discounts may be offered for transitions to promotional packages. You can check your customer panel for current campaigns or contact our support team.
