Discord and Blocked Platforms Access via Proxy: Turkey Location Restrictions

When using proxy services to access specific platforms, the geographical location of your proxy server plays a critical role. Especially if you're planning to use a proxy to connect to platforms blocked in Turkey like Discord, you need to carefully evaluate your proxy's location.

Turkey Location Proxy Services and Access Restrictions

All proxy services we offer as LivaProxy are located in Turkey. This means our proxy servers are physically located in Turkey and provide you with Turkish IP addresses.

According to Turkish Republic legislation, access to certain platforms is blocked. Discord is one of these platforms. When you use a Turkey-based proxy, you appear as if you're accessing the internet from Turkey. Therefore:

• You cannot access platforms banned in Turkey like Discord
• Since the proxy server is in Turkey, local access restrictions continue to apply
• The platform rejects your connection request because it comes from a Turkish IP

Proxy Location and Platform Access Relationship

When using a proxy service, your apparent location on the internet is the physical location of the proxy server. If you use a proxy located abroad, you get that country's IP address and are subject to that country's internet access conditions.

Important Note: We currently only offer Turkey-based proxy services. While we have plans to offer services in different locations in the future, all our IPv4 Proxy, ISP IPv4 Proxy, IPv6 Proxy, Mobile Proxy, and other proxy types are currently Turkey-based.

Using Proxy for Discord

If you're considering using a proxy to access Discord:

• Our Turkey-based proxy services are not suitable for Discord access
• You need proxy services located abroad to access Discord
• Even if you configure system-wide proxy with tools like Proxifier, you cannot connect to Discord with a Turkish IP

Platforms You Can Use with Turkey Location Proxy

Our proxy services work seamlessly on all platforms not banned in Turkey:

• Social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
• E-commerce sites (Amazon, eBay, Trendyol, Hepsiburada, etc.)
• Search engines (Google, Bing, Yandex, etc.)
• Content platforms (YouTube, Twitch, etc.)
• Gaming platforms and servers (those not banned)
• SEO tools and web scraping applications
• Data collection and analysis platforms

Banned Platform List and Terms of Service

According to our Terms of Service, access to the following platforms is strictly prohibited:

• All websites banned under Turkish Republic laws
• All illegal or unlawful betting and gambling sites
• Blocked platforms (including Discord)
• Sites hosting illegal content

These restrictions stem from our proxy location being in Turkey and are due to our legal obligations.

Alternative Solutions and Recommendations

If you need access to Discord or similar banned platforms:

1. Research foreign-based proxy providers: You can get support from proxy companies serving in European, American, or Asian locations
2. Evaluate different solutions: You can explore VPN services or foreign server rental options
3. Follow our future plans: We plan to offer services in different locations in the coming period

Choosing the Right Proxy Type

Apart from Discord, when deciding which proxy type to choose for other legitimate platforms:

System-Wide Proxy Usage with Proxifier

Tools like Proxifier allow you to route all your network traffic through a proxy at the operating system level. However, remember that:

• Proxifier is just a routing tool
• Your proxy's location doesn't change
• You cannot access banned platforms with a Turkish IP
• Even if Proxifier is configured correctly, platform blocks remain in effect
